Customer Service Representative

Pension Corporation of America (PCA), a national retirement plan administration and consulting firm, specializes in providing plan design, daily administration, and investment advisory services. Locally owned and a member of Alliance Benefit Group, PCA is positioned to provide customized administration, investment, and employee communication services to plan sponsors in the local Cincinnati and Dayton areas. PCA is conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Cincinnati Ohio near Eden Park.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides customer service to plan participants by responding to participant phone calls and emails with information on their account balances, plan provisions, and processing transfers and exchanges. No selling with this Customer Service Rep position.

Perfect Entry Level Position for:

• Recent college graduate or candidate with some successful college experience.
• Strong administrative / clerical work experience.

Gain knowledge and experience in Retirement Plan Administration:

• On-the-job training provides the employee with hands-on experience.
• Industry Education sponsored by PCA through America Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

General Responsibilities:

• Answer participant phone calls and emails for account balances, retirement plan provisions, processing transfers and exchanges.
• Assists in daily duties of plan administration.
• Entering enrollment/beneficiary forms.
• Mailing confirmation statements.
• Sending distribution packets.
• Logging distribution requests.
• Assist with loan inquiries and pay-offs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent clerical skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities.

Knowledge/Skill:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft: Excel, Word, Access, & Outlook.
• Ability to navigate several different software applications simultaneously.
• Experience and capability to effectively utilize a 3-monitor system.
• Ability and desire to learn pension-related industry software.

Position:

• Full-time, non-exempt position with benefits.
• Position is work from office, on-site.

Contribution Associate

Pension Corporation of America (PCA), a national retirement plan administration and consulting firm, specializes in providing plan design, daily administration, and investment advisory services. Locally owned and a member of Alliance Benefit Group, PCA is positioned to provide customized administration, investment, and employee communication services to plan sponsors in the local Cincinnati and Dayton areas. PCA is conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Cincinnati Ohio near Eden Park.

The Contribution Associate processes 401(k) plan contributions. Working with an assigned group of 401(k) plans, this position is client facing, collaborating with an internal PCA team of Account Executives and Processing Account Managers to provide administrative services.

General Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process plan contributions.
• Loan payoff and reconciliation.
• Manage and track incoming rollover contributions.
• Client contact for contribution issues.
• Reconcile activity logs.
• Monitor and follow-up on late contributions.
• Process ACH, bank requests, and wire transfers.
• Collaborate with other contribution processors to work as a team to meet desired goals.
• All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Able to work well under stress created by time deadlines and workflow volume changes.

Position:

• Full-time, non-exempt position with benefits.
• Local to Cincinnati area, position is work-from-office during initial training with possibility for hybrid schedule.
