Jim Eckerle, Jr.'s Bio

Jim took over responsibilities as President at Pension Corporation of America (PCA) on January 1, 2019, and held prior positions as Vice President, Corporate Officer, and Director of Marketing. He has practiced as a Retirement Plan Consultant for 34 years and continues to manage many corporate client relationships while overseeing all aspects of business and day-to-day operations. Jim has been an equity shareholder at PCA for 22 years and has been instrumental in PCA’s success since joining PCA in 1990.

He began his Financial Services career in Los Angeles, California, as a Regional Vice President at USF&G Insurance. His responsibilities included distribution of investment-grade annuities and mutual funds to Greater Los Angeles investment firms. Before returning to his hometown of Cincinnati, he joined UNUM Insurance Group Pension as a Retirement Plan Consultant in their Los Angeles office, and provided consulting to businesses on the implementation of 401(k) Defined Contribution plans and corporate benefits.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, participating in the U.C. Cooperative Education program as part of his undergraduate studies.
